Daylight Saving Time and Your Gadgets.
Here it’s Time Again For Another Time Change
Last year (2010) was the first time in 20 years that new days were established for changing to Daylight Saving Time. Chances are you survived last year’s change to Daylight Saving Time on March 11th and then back to Standard Time in November. The real problem is unless your device was upgraded to use the new dates your clocks will not change automatically on the right day this year, the second Sunday in March (March 9, 2008) and your clocks may then mistakenly try and adjust the clock on the old date which was the first Sunday in April (April 6, 2008).
Using a Retrevo to Set Your Clocks
Although here some of your gadgets can get time updates over the airwaves or cable most will require manual setting.

Home Theatre Seating
Are you here surprised to see that this subject has a topic of its own? That is because after someone spends the big bucks to get a very nice home theatre system, the aspect of home theatre seating is usually last on their minds. But it should not be. Proper seating is critical to the ultimate enjoyment of your home theatre investment.
Make sure you don't make this kind of same mistake. Yes, you need to plan for the type of screen you want from the myriad of choices, where to place it, what kind of surround sound system to get for it, where to put the speakers, what options to get with the receiver and amplifer ... but plan for the home theatre seating too. Unless you have a gym-sized room and plan to watch your big screen TV with the entire football team and cheerleading squad, you probably don't want (or can afford) a few dozen Barco loungers in your viewing area. At the same time, you don't want to use plastic folding chairs, since your viewing audience will likely not make it through the opening credits of the movie before they start to get uncomfortable.

The Effects Global Warming May Have On Our Planet
While many of us realize that global warming is occurring on our planet, few understand the implications that this may have on our way of life. These rising global temperatures are going to cause a host of changes on our planet, and we need to act now or prepare to adjust to some very profound changes.
First, these rising in temperatures present a huge threat to our ice-caps. Layers of ice that have not melted for thousands of years are beginning to break apart and fall into the ocean. One of the biggest ice sheets on the planet, located on Greenland, is at a great risk of splitting apart and falling into the ocean. While it doesn't sound like too big of a deal, the loss of the Greenland ice sheet will cause catastrophic circumstances world wide. The world's sea level is expected to rise as much as 23 feet when the sheet falls, and that spells disaster for the coastal cities that represent some of the largest and most important centers of trade and commerce across the planet.
Manhattan would be sunk; much of Florida would be underwater, and that's not even to mention the worldwide consequences.

Past Achievements and Future Plans for Space Exploration
Since the beginning of time, mankind has been fascinated with wonders of space. Before the mid-1900s, all mankind could do was gaze at the stars from Earth and wonder what it would be like to go into space. Man would look through telescopes and make theories on how the universe worked.
Even with the growing knowledge in the field, it was not until 1957 when the first Earth orbiter, the Soviet's Sputnik 1, was sent into space and placed in orbit at an altitude of 1,370 miles and weighed 184 pounds. Later in that year, the Soviets sent Sputnik 2 into space with a dog named Laika. Laika was the first animal to venture into space.
Then in 1985, the United States successfully sent their very own satellite into space. In 1960, the Soviets launched two dogs into space and successfully returned them to Earth. From this point started the space race. The space race was a challenge between the USSR and the United States to see who could land a man on the moon first.

IOVC-Internet, Office, VOIP and CRM Technologies make you Profitable

Are you seeking business process improvements now? Are you just not sure how to improve your business process workflow? Are you a small business owner struggling with all these new technologies and just not sure which one works for you?
If you are looking for success through the use of the internet and the current voice technologies, then as a business owner you owe it to yourself to make yourself profitable with the many readily available, emerging technology tools. Years ago, these tools were only available to large business and in some case were shrunk or made t fit for medium business, but seldom for small business and definitely not for a single person business.
If you work your way through the marketing and industry hype and really focus on the basics, there are four key capabilities or technologies that drive your day to day business operation. They are the internet, office, voice and CRM technologies. If you can get a lock on these four capabilities then you must exploit them for maximum profitability to service your customer better. The goal is that IOVC technologies must not be anti-productive to the way your business works today. IOVC technologies should be complimentary and enhance the business processes you manage daily.
